Online Shopping Experience: World of EK by Ekta Kapoor Review

We recently shopped some home décor products at World of EK by Ekta Kapoor and here is the review and my online shopping experience.

Online shopping has become such a boon to us who are tied down with work and kids’ needs. I don’t like spending my weekends at a store. Instead, I am purchasing everything from groceries to home décor online for the last few years! Recently I came across the ads of World of EK by Ekta Kapoor and loved the beautiful lavish Indian home décor products like bed sheets, tableware, ceramics and blue pottery items. And of course, I had to get something from there to beautify my home.

So without wasting any time let us jump into the World of EK by Ekta Kapoor review. I will be sharing my online shopping experience of home décor items and what all I got from there for my home.

What did I get from World of Ek?

I got two products from their website and I will be reviewing both of them. I wanted to buy a blue pottery wall plate too, however, it was out of stock while I was placing the order! So maybe, some other time!

Cotton bedsheet

Ever since I saw the ads for the dainty-looking bedspreads I wanted them for my bedroom. I love to make my bed look cosy and warm. For this, I got this beautiful block-printed bed sheet from the Mandala collection. I love the colour contrast of white and blue and mandalas are my weakness when it comes to designs and patterns.

About the Bedsheet

This is a 100% cotton block printed bedsheet in king size for my king-size bed. It comes with 2 pillowcases of the same design. I checked the label for the thread count and was happy to see it has 144 thread count, thus it’s soft and comfortable.

I love the beautiful combination of ethnic and contemporary styles here. The Mandala art is so calming when you look at it. It makes the bedroom looks warm yet calm.

At the time of writing the review, the bed sheet set has not been washed so I can’t tell you whether it shrinks or there is colour fasting.

But tell me doesn’t it so pretty!

Ceramic Pasta Bowl

You all know about my food blog right? I am always on the lookout for cute ceramics and table wares for my recipes and for my Instagram feed. So when I saw this ceramic pasta bowl I had to get it! This is a glazed ceramic bowl in a sea green shade that is perfect for serving food or for your pasta.  My son seems to have taken a liking for it already.

I love how beautifully it is crafted. It looks unique and charming and functional at the same time. This can be used in the microwave or the dishwasher too. It is made of toxin-free ceramic and has a capacity of 300 ml.

I have used it for serving pasta, salad, raita, and breakfast bowls! So you know how versatile it is!

My Online Shopping Experience at World of Ek by Ekta Kapoor

Online shopping came into my life as a blessing especially since the pandemic, because I buy almost everything online. With delicate products like ceramic or glass, it becomes a little tricky because you don’t want it scratched or broken when it arrives at your doorstep.

While placing the order was a breeze and I got the delivery pretty fast, what was most impressive was the way they packed my order! The bed sheet came in a cotton bag that I am going to use to store the bed sheet and pillowcases so that nothing is lost.

I was very impressed with how they packed the ceramic bowl so that there was no chance of dents or scratches!

There are a plethora of home décor items at the site that I liked. Browsing through sites and marketplaces is even better than window shopping!! Don’t you think?
