Lotus Vitamin C Serum Review
Lotus Botanicals Vitamin C Serum is very impressive and I am loving the light hydrating formula. Some serums have a sticky feeling after application, but this one doesn’t feel sticky and the skin instantly feels soft and smooth. So I am sharing a detailed Lotus Vitamin C Serum Review.

Why did I like the Lotus Vitamin C Serum?
I have oily skin in general but feels a little dry in the winter because it’s cold and dry in Bangalore. I needed a serum that hydrates the skin and takes away the dullness that winter weather can cause on your skin.
- I am finding Lotus Vitamin C Serum to be intensely hydrating because my skin feels soft after application.
- It gets absorbed in the skin superfast
- It has a very lightweight formula that doesn’t feel sticky, unlike many other serums I have used.
- It has a sweet fragrance
I have used this Vitamin C Serum for a week now and the skin feels bright and glowing. I have to use it longer for a month maybe, to check whether it works on fading blemishes and dark spots according to its claim. But my overall experience with this vegan Vitamin C Serum is pretty good and I can definitely recommend it to you guys.
Lotus Botanicals Vitamin C Face Scrub Review
Complete winter skincare is not complete without using a face scrub. Winter weather leads to dry skin and dead skin build-up that might lead to acne breakouts and blackheads. The best way to get rid of dead skin and grime is to use a face scrub. I have included a Vitamin C scrub in my winter skincare routine and let me share with you the Lotus Botanicals Vitamin C Face Scrub review. I use this face scrub once a week because too frequent usage of face scrub is not advisable.
Ingredients in this Lotus Vitamin C Face Scrub
- Vitamin C – works on dark spots and blemishes
- Kakadu Plum Extracts – is anti-oxidant rich
- Grape Fruit Extracts – have high Vitamin C content and work on dark spots and sun damage
- Niacinamide – enhances the skin’s natural moisture and luminosity
- Almond shell powder – for exfoliation
- Kaolin – for skin clarity
- Glycerin – for hydration
How I incorporated it into my Winter Skincare Routine?
Face scrubs are a great way to remove dead skin from your face and body. I use this scrub on my face and on my arms and legs for exfoliation.
While skin exfoliation is a good thing to practice, you must be careful that you are not over-exfoliating your skin. Over-exfoliation can lead to excessive sebum production in the skin and result in blackheads and acne breakouts.
This scrub can be used twice a week, but I am using it once a week because I generally practice skincare and don’t end up having too much dirt, grime, or dead skin on the face.
- I apply a pea size amount of the Lotus Vitamin C Face scrub on a damp face
- Massage it in circular motions especially around the nose and chin area to remove whiteheads
- Wash it off with water
- Follow it up with a serum and a light moisturizer
- I also use it on my arms and elbows.
Packaging
This Vitamin C face scrub comes in a tube.
Price Point
MRP – Rs 375 for 100g tube
Why did I like the Lotus Vitamin C Face Scrub?
I really liked the texture of this scrub. It’s gentle and not too abrasive. I am not fond of exfoliating scrubs that are too abrasive for the skin.
- Gently exfoliates skin
• removes dead skin, blackheads, and whiteheads - Improves Skin Texture
• No Toxic Chemicals - Paraben Free, Silicon-Free, Sulphate Free, Mineral Oil Free,
- pH-Balanced formula
- Cruelty-Free, 100% Vegan
Bio retinol Sleeping mask Review
This winter for my nighttime skincare routine I have started using a sleeping mask. I have been wanting to use a sleeping mask because it is the most trending product in skincare these days. I love how all the Koreans go ga-ga about sleeping masks. So I thought of using an anti-aging sleeping mask with bio-retinol. So let me share the Lotus Botanicals bio-retinol sleeping mask review.

skin-friendly vitamins for winter
Ingredients in this Bio-retinol sleeping mask
- This anti-ageing sleeping mask is rich in Bakuchiol – Natural Vitamin A Derivative
- Niacinamide – deeply hydrating
Why Bio-retinol? Difference between retinol and Bio-retinol
I have used retinol anti-ageing creams. They don’t suit me at all. I end up with breakouts. Bio-retinol is a safe, plant-based alternative to retinoids. They are extracted from bakuchi plants.  Backchiol is a natural vitamin derivative that works on wrinkles, fine lines, and even on acne, dark spots, and uneven skin texture. It has similar properties to traditional retinoids but without any harmful effects.
How I incorporated it in my Winter Skincare Routine?
I use this bio-retinol sleeping mask for my nighttime skincare routine
- Wash your face with a cleanser
- Apply a hyaluronic acid serum
- Make dots with the sleeping mask
- Massage it on the skin for even distribution
- Apply an under eye cream nd lip balm
You can apply the sleeping mask and go to bed. It doesn’t feel like any added layer of mask but is intensely hydrating.
Packaging
This bio-retinol anti-ageing sleeping mask comes in a glass jar.
Price Point
MRP – Rs 695 for 50g tube
Why did I like it?
Anti-ageing creams somehow don’t suit me, they end up making my skin very oily. But the sleeping mask is not exactly an anti-ageing cream. It is super lightweight and doesn’t make your skin greasy.
- Intensely hydrating
- Reduces fine lines, wrinkles
- Improves skin texture
- Boosts radiance
- Vegan and chemical-free product
Since I liked all these three products and included them as my winter skincare products I thought why not share a review of them here? Out of the three if I have to choose a favorite it will be the sleeping mask! Hope you liked my Lotus Vitamin C Serum review and bio retinol sleeping mask review and hope they will help you in making an informed decision.
