Monday is here, and for a change I am not having Monday Morning Blues. Start of a new week and I am thinking what all I am going to do this week. Last week was just fine and quiet. Son is having random bouts of cold and cough, so it kept me busy and home bound.
The latest thing, I have been trying is to set daily affirmations and small goals for the week. Else things get so hay wired, that you just lose track of everything. This week I am thinking of making it special for us. Let’s see what I am looking for to in this week. Monday Musings it is then.
#1 Monday Musings: Shoot video
My current obsession is shooting video. I have still not started my YouTube Channel full-fledged, because I need to create a buffer. Hopefully sometime soon. I am still in a dilemma – should it be one channel comprising both the blogs or two separate (which means double the work).
Nevertheless, I am going to shoot a healthy variation of a muffin – which my son has been asking for.
#2 Monday Musing: Organize son’s cupboard
This is more of a big task on my to-do-list. I had started sorting out some clothes over the weekend, to donate. I realized he has more clothes than me!! Who has 11 pairs of jeans at the age of 4!!! I got quite inspired by the Netflix series Tidying Up with Marie Kondo – so much so that I sorted out his winter clothes, home clothes, school clothes! And still there are more left!
#3 Monday Musings: Thanksgiving lunch Thursday 28th November
Thanksgiving is not part of our culture, but hey, if we can do Christmas, Halloween (and what not) then why not Thanksgiving. Lunch time is one time when we can find a few minutes of family time. My son is back from school by 1230ish, husband goes out by 1pm, so it’s the perfect time to introduce the concept of Thanksgiving for my little one.
I am not sure if I can manage to get a turkey, but definitely a chicken roast is manageable in the morning. Actually, chicken roasts are a good way to let the oven do the job, and take all credits! You can check my Winter Roast Chicken Recipe on my food blog which I had posted long time back (Feb, 2016 to be precise, so don’t mind the photos).
#4 Monday Musings: Black Friday Sale
Shopping and me are hand in glove – even when I am broke. There are amazing Black Friday sale going on currently on Shein (for clothes is you want). But what I am looking forward to is the digital content sale. Black Friday sale starts on 29th November and usually its on till Cyber Monday – 2nd December. I am planning to pick up some premium plugins and themes. Last year I had bought Elementor with which I designed this site. But it’s a year old now, and I am always looking out for something new and easy.
#5 Monday Musings: Get a hair cut
My hair is all over the place currently. Last time I got a haircut (some three months back) it turned out to be a disaster. I went to a pretty posh salon and the hair stylist said a lot of stuffs painted with adjectives, but I wasn’t quite happy with the result. The hair stylist himself didn’t have a single hair and my hair looked exactly the same what I had! For what I paid some 1400 bucks for that hair cut I have no idea. Anyways, I need to get a new haircut, because I am tired of the same look.
Pin it for later!
So how have you planned your week? What are you looking forward to in this week? Let me know about it and also how you beat the Monday Morning Blues!
Until next time,
xoxo
Tina.

This was such a fun post to read! Since my mom-in-law is American, we actually celebrate thanksgiving properly. I just had proper turkey dinner. Happy thanksgiving to you!

Happy thanksgiving to you and your family.. we here in CA having 1 week long break and festive season is in full on here.. great list and had a fun time while reading it.
That’s really nice list to do, I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving with family and friends. Black Friday sale is really interesting to do
After spending a fortune on Durga puja and Diwali shopping, I have almost turned a blind eye on the Black Friday Sale deals this year.
Sorting out clothes and stationery is a huge task to do, which I do twice a year, but I guess I need to bi-monthly for keeping breathing wardrobe.
This is a very funful way to organize things.. I love the way you have divided your works throughout the week .
Soch relatable post Tina, I am desperate for a hair cut too and yeah we too can have a thanksgiving lunch I plan at home
Sorting kids almirah is kind on unending task. Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
Wonderful! It’s good to see how you plan your week ahead. Hope all you planned went well.
You have your hands full I must say & that’s quite an impressive list of things you have on your to-do list. Video making is something I have also started liking recently, I think you should start your food channel separately. That would be a delight for food lovers.
I plan my days the same way too… Happy thanks giving and hope you got what you wanted on black Friday sale
Same here, these days I am also loving making videos. I loved how you organized your whole week with full variation. Best wishes.
I love this, how beautifully you have made a list of things you want to get done and I am really excited about your youtube channel (I am sure it is going to be a hit). I have done quite a damage on this black Friday sale hehehe
That’s a nice to do list for beating Monday blues. Thanks for sharing your ideas
home Organization and menu planning is the Monday thing. Also, this reminds me to check out your lovely youtube videos.
