Flash Fiction – The Shadow

by Tina Basu

The shadow looked monstrouson the wall in the dimly lit room.

The tiny hairyrat had slipped into the room looking for food.

Jake surprisingly seemed breezy and hurled a ball towards the rat.

Jake enjoyed looking at the wall… the monstrous shadow shrunk and vanished in seconds.

This reminds of my childhood as I tried to make a wolf's head with my hands to to form a shadow on a sheet!
